Farming is a family business. We wouldn’t be able to do it without our parents. Raising pigs makes it hard to leave the farm as we do chores both in the morning and at night. But because of our parents, we were able to take a road trip out west
mowed the trails and came home with wild flowers. 😍
we are going to be in the 2022 @minnesotacooks calendar!!! this has been on our bucket list from day one of starting the farm. our product will be featured from our friend @_e_rae_ from @flourandflowerbakery.
we will be sharing more over the summer
we have a website: fertileacreagefarm.com
YEEHAW!!
our family really is a part of the whole process from farm to table. after a long drive up to our restaurants, our five year old still had the energy to unload cases of meat. thata girl!
Have you tried @braubeer Cubano Sandwich?! Ciabatta bread filled with our ham and Canadian bacon, dill mustard, swiss cheese and fried pickles. Pair it with some cheese curds and a Thresher. 🍺
new lesson...we will be purchasing a dolly for transporting a whole hog from our freezer trailer to our walk-in. uff da! that pig was heavy.
when you look up the definition of farming is says...there is always a project to do because something broke.
we bought a freezer trailer!!! I can’t even believe it. we have talked about this since the beginning and have saved for years. and perfect timing because tomorrow we will be bringing 10 cases of pork to the cities and there is room for more.
Our pork looking good as Korean sliders @braubeer
